Membership and invitation to Volunteer
All students at the time of orientation are briefed about all the activities of Centre for Social Responsibility at RVIM. The session is designed to present the important programmes conducted during the previous year through documented photographs and videos. Later the students are informed on importance of CSR activities in their future career as per CSR information in Section 135 of The Indian Companies Act, 2013 .A quick survey is done to understand the number of students who have been associated with Scouts, Guides, NCC, NSS and other Voluntary Service forum like Lions Club, Rotary Club and other NGOs. RVIM-CSR has designed a unique form to invite students to participate in CSR programmes . Alternately also students interested to be a part of some programmes are grouped based on place of stay. For Example –Students residing in Jayanagar Hostel and nearby Paying Guest Accomodation are connected to a common message platform on their mobile devices. When programmes are arranged in short notice or when RVIM-CSR is invited by other NGOs for a programme then the information is passed on to all the students residing in Jayanagar to participate in the programme . A classic example could be Walkathons and Marathons organized by various NGOs. The same practice is adopted to inform all the students to engage in CSR activities during vacation.

Funding and support
RVIM-CSR is fully supported by institution funding for all its activities. The general procedure is to provide a budget and seek approval for the desired expenditure plan. On approval the advance amount is sanctioned through institution cheque. The incurred expenses and relevant bills are submitted to complete the process in the RVIM Office.
An RVIM-CSR request partner NGOs and other organisations to meet their own expenses and shares the responsibility to meet the expenditure jointly based on prior approval from the head of the institute. In fund raising programmes like sale of Indian Association for the Blind STAMPS ,the amount collected from the students are deposited in the college office. After the complete collection the amount is remitted to the beneficiary through Bank Demand Draft. The same procedure is followed for all types of  fund rising programmes relating to Medical Support for Poor Patients, For Victims of Terorism in case of National Foundation for Communal Harmny and other similar programmes.
